Hi guys my 2.2 auto was running ok earlier then started to misfire then cleared itself, but it came back and has stayed car running like a mf fault code p0304 has come up. Also its chucking down here and i know the scuttle leaks water onto the rocker is number 4 cylinder closest to the bulkhead cheers

Answered your own question I think, pop coil pack out and see what's what. Check guides for sealing the scuttle :y

thought that only applied to diss packs on..2.6/3.2 engines..as the 2.2 coil pack is in the centre of the engine and covered by the centre cover....if wrong i stand corrected...could remove coil pack to see if plug holes are full of oil.. :-\

Dont know i know my brother had similar issues and after the ports were blown out with an air line after being full of water it went fine
-
Fair comment..the plug connector for the coil pack is at the rear of the engine,so worth a look to see, :y

As i say its been lashing it down here so will give it some tlc tomoz thanks for the help. :y

:D removed coil pack and 3 and 4 cylinders were water logged, blew out the water cleaned the plugs refitted coil pack woohoo running sweet. Did notice when fitting water was dripping from the foam on the scuttle right down onto the top of no4 cylinder my brother had this car for 4 years after me giving it to him and ive just got it back he said 1 and 2 cylinders got wet with him after really heavy rain,he had it reversed up his drive where i drive mine up so the water was running back with me.
Anyway thanks for the instant advice guys, much appreciated.

You still need to do the scuttle or you will end up going round in circles and end up with a naff coil pack Which are around £100ish new for the sake of a tube of sealant :y

Scuttle is getting done tomorrow mate and new coil pack and plugs on order, weather is supposed to be dry tomorrow so will give me a chance to dry everything before applying sealer.
Cheers again. :y
