Title: alternator cable

How long is the cable that runs from the alternator to the positive battery terminal please?
Also how many amps does it carry?
3.2 petrol engine

Wouldn't start at petrol station Friday night called AA and he did loads of tests and found alternatorvok and battery OK but the last few inches of cable just before the battery was a drop in amps so suggested crimped connector was loose or cable strands broken inside get new connector soldered on
Been down Essex just come back and battery light is now on full
Was going to have it checked tommorow at BG electrics in radders
