Title: anyone else had this? BP fuel
Post by: hoj on 03 December 2015, 14:44:44
The last three times I have put petrol in at a B P station seconds later the emissions light comes on
Doesn't do it with any other fuel and doesn't do it if I put fuel in elsewhere
Anyone else experienced this?
What additives does BP have that other fuels don't?

Funny you should say that..Ive had the 420 code on and off for a while now cos the sensors want moving. If i put tesco fuel in,then the light is on.. If i put that (think its called BP momentum) in,Then its hit and miss....But when i put that shell V power in that some on here shout about,After a few runs the light is out..  :y

Didn't I read some where that a percentage is now bio-fuel? If so that may account for it. :-\

Don't tell Al, he's stuck in the coal gas and oil century.

Seeing as all BP's now have stopped selling fart gas, and the staff are more interested in selling crap coffee and microwave meals to sad bastards who can't get a girlfriend, I no longer use them, so unable to comment.

I would say that, for pumps 11 and 12 at the Brackley branch, its possible to make an impressively quick getaway due to the immense traction available on that part of the forecourt.

self-abusers.

They sell it at a BP near here although it's always been 5-10p more expensive than anywhere else locally, so I've never used the self abusers!  ::)  ;D

Light on mine always came on with 95 Ron fuel. Started using 97 Ron and the light hasn't been on since. Didn't matter where I filled up the car just don't like normal unleaded.

Every single one within a 25m radius here has stopped in last 3 months (Brakkers stopped a year or so ago).

Obviously not enough people using it to make it worthwhile.
