Hello again all, sorry for all the questions tonight, I popped to mcdees with the miss but noticed the drivers side light had like a shadow blocking the brightness of the XENON when looked at it the beam on the light unit it seems to have dropped and was pointing down the silver bit on the eye light bit it seems like it needs to go up but the lights have not got a light level switch in the car, any suggestions thanks again everyone :y

You have a broken adjuster.
There is a guide, but I believe you won't be able to but the parts mentioned.

I think I see that in the guide but I weren't sure if it was for normal lights :-[

Have just received some adjusters made from a solid block of silicone. came from Poland, come with a life time guarantee, and therefore should last longer than the Omega ::)

Oh right cool cool, would I have to separate the lens from the unit to put the block in or is there a different way, :y

Removing the lens is easy: place the entire lamp in the oven for 5minutes at 100degrees, and you will be able to push it off with your fingers. I'm currently halfway through doing a batch of these, and that is quick, easy and effective. I have been stripping the bulbs, motors and ballasts before doing this. I did try a heatgun, but it takes longer and doesn't heat the whole job efficiently - too much faffing about for me. You do need to ensure that you don't get the adhesive over the reflectors, but that's just a case of cutting any stringy bits with a sharp Stanley or single-edged razor blade.
Put the lamp back in the oven when you've refitted the lens, and you'll be able to jiggle the lens around for a proper fit.

It will be interesting to see how they compare to the aluminium ones, which aren't quite as tight a fit as the original broken parts.
