Title: LPG Filler Cap
Post by: steve6367 on 18 December 2015, 10:24:33
Are they all the same?

I got a little LPG on my hand when filling up which was quite painful and distracted me into driving off with cap on roof!

Seems lots online but wanted to check its a standard fitting?

Steve

Im pretty sure they are standard fitment. I have lost a few over the years (and found a few sat on garage pumps), and have currently been without one for about a year. I must get around to buying one as I haven't had any luck finding one sat on a pump for some reason.  :)

Standard fitting in UK, assuming you don't have to use adapters to fill.

Don't bother with the cheapest ones you'll see on ebay as they're shite and don't fit properly.  ;)

Been there done that and lost a couple down the the road!  :D  ;D

Thanks for the tip. I was going to go down that route. Might just keep a closer eye on pumps at garages.  ;D

You didn't hear it banging against the rear panel at 70mph then LD.

Will have to get you one with a little cat collar bell on it.  ::) ;D
