A nice little Freebie !00GB of Cloud Back Up Online space and some very easy to use Software to go with it, needs the Free App(s) to work, which are Ad and Adware Free, and currently available for Windows OS, Mac OS X and Android, (iPhone and Win Mobile coming soon).
Free 100GB Referral link here - https://degoo.com/g/VQvkN4X
The company offering this is Degoo, who is a Swedish based Co and have been providing Cloud and back up solutions since 2009.
Data is Encrypted (128 bit AES, with CBC and PKCS5) and Server Comms is encrypted (using TLS 1.2), and Passwords with PBKDF2 / HMAC512.
I've tried both the Windows and Android Apps, and although fairly basic, it does do what is says on the tin, on the PC you can back up anything from a single File in a Folder, selectable Sub Folders, Winows Back Up Files, Drive Images or the entire Hard Drive or Partition, with Processor options of Eco. Normal or Turbo mode. Recovery is the similar you can select which files or Folders you wish to recover. The Android App is backed up and recovered by category, ie, Music, Videos, Folders etc and these back ups can also be viewed or recovered on the PC App.
Bearing in mind this is a Cloud Back Up solution theres nothing stopping you from having different accounts on each device, ie, Multiple 100gb slot per device using different email sign for each device.

Well that won't be very secure, with only two passwords, and you've just told everyone what they are. Sheesh.

PBKDF2 / HMAC512 are not Passwords, there Crypto Methods for storing Password Encryption. Sheesh.

They do charge, if you want to upgrade to more space, 250gb is £1.89pm 2000gb (2TB) is £6.39pm, bit cheaper if you do a year upfront.
The 100gb is free. ;)

The Windows client seems to be rather heavy on resources for a "basic" sync program?

Was running about 25 - 30% when I tried it uploading, but I can't remember what mode it was in at the time, so yea a little bit high on resources.
Try it in Eco Mode, Help(lower left)/uses too much memory/Enable Power Saving Mode, might have to shut the App down and restart to take effect.
Must admit after my OneDrive 1TB syncing madness, I tend not to run sync folders in the background fulltime, just do the thing when required now and then, probably would have removed Degoo from the Start Menu as well if parked itself there.

It's encrypting a lot of data prior to transmission, it's going to eat resources. Prob one to run at on a scheduled task at night.
-
No, its heavy on resources when it has SFA to do - 10% CPU, 100Mb RAM. The folder I selected for syncing is empty.

Been doing a fair bit of back ups over the last week or so, mainly leaving it overnight to sort itself out, so far, doing what it needs to do without issues, well the biggest issue for me is my crappy Internet upload speed.

Is there any data coming in and out when it is idling?
