Halfords be cheaper, but not as cheap as tunnie paid, unless ecp have a special on 20L drums again.

I hope that's before discount, or your paying £28. for 8ltr and tunnie paid £22 for 20L,
and I paid £33 for 20L of 5/30 fully sympathetic..

£12 x 2 -  £24 for 8L is exactly what I purchased......convenient and good value for fully synth. Tunnie is buying 10w40

But Halfrauds is only for 4 litres at £12 , never understood why they sell 4 litre tubs  ::) Ideal if you have a Daewoo Matiz i guess  ;D

Not really relevant here, but 4l is very close to one US gallon. Although Americans, being weird, measure engine capacities in quarts.

Its only the special offers that seem to come in 4L - maybe to help with the marketing? Less oil cheaper price looks better?

Halfrauds are piss poor at special offers . One thing for certain is there is never a queue at the checkout  ;)

Ah, yes, indeed. They fail to see that the British public are thick and stupid.  Like DFS and similar, ECP know that doubling the price of their (occasionally fake) tat, then having a 50% sale or BOGOF offers is a sure way to part the stupid from their wad ;)

But, as the saying goes, a fool and his money...

Nought against ECP, except that they worryingly sell stuff that clearly has not come from reputable sources, but there "normal" prices are unrealistically high. At 50% off prices, they are about right...   ...if only could believe that the goods are what they claim  >:(

£8 on Trade if memory serves, when their Oil promotions kick in, which is not a bad price for Semi or Full Fat if you dont need to fill the shed up with the VX stuff.

Why do dealers charge such different amounts for the same thing?  :-\  I paid £36.30 for the same a few months ago.  ::)
