been looking to add an estate to the omega collection and whilst browsing saw an ad which contained this pic.

and whilst I appreciate you can't rely on a pic too heavily I'm impressed to see both strut nut covers,all 4 plenum bolt plugs,all 3 pieces of the top rad cover,battery bag and spongey thing on the iac valve are all still present on a '98 car.

Is that a gold estate ? :-\ Whilst it all looks original , even the original clips to the hoses on the plenum breather pipes .. be wary they mite never have been off and blocked . Last 2.5 i bought looked similar but nothing had been properly serviced :(

It's either been lovingly maintained with attention to detail, or never touched. If it's still running, I'd say either is better than having been poorly maintained by a bodger. ;)
We know the mechanicals on these cars can take some abuse and just keep working, cam belt changes aside, and that most problems are simple to resolve. If I were in the market for an Omega, condition of the body / structure would be my main concern.

Tis a silver Tourer.quite a bit of history 100k miles,6 months ticket left last serviced 92k belt change at 70k.will check it on Saturday.
