Next big problem for mankind or just a cyclical thing?
What amazes me about mosquito borne virus and illnesses is that mankind hasn't already eradicated them. Maybe it is because it doesn't normally affect the First World. It is a little known fact that the first genetically modified insects havealready been released in Europe. They have modified male olive flies to become infertile in order to reduce the sometimes disastrous effect on we olive farmers. Even though male mossies only live for about five days I believe, it shouldn't be too hard surely to do the same to mosquitoes?
