Hi everyone
I changed the water pump on my omega and now it won't start. I've checked everything I've done several times and I've not missed anything off. It was running perfect before I started. Can anyone help.

Did you replace the pump with the cambelt cover removed or in place? Just to give us an idea of what was removed. :-\

I did it with cam belt cover on just released bolts to give a bit more axcess

I once made the mistake of changing a failed pump this way.
What I didn't account for was that when I knocked the old failed pump out, a whole load of little metal roller bearings must have fell down into the bottom Cambelt sprocket
Luckily for me it only jumped a couple of teeth and I was able to recover it with a new belt kit.
I now only do them with the whole cover off. We all live and learn :y

If the water pump came out in one piece then the above scenario can be ruled out.
wont turn over or will just crank and not start?

Disagree entirely
This one appeared in one but the bearings still escaped!!!

Paperclip it. Lets see whats not plugged in.

The pump came of with a good struck from the hammer but seamed to have come out in one piece car turns over fine just won't go. Going to do the paper clip test in the morning

Have you disconnected any sensor or connector? Check your steps on the process

I did take photos of everything as I took things apart so I wouldn't forget and I'm pretty sure I put it back right
