Hello all I am a new member on here and this is the first time I am trying to get some help. I have a 1999 2. 5 cdx with electronic climate control.
The main problem is when a need to change the air direction in the car pushing the buttons makes no difference.
Even with the fan on Max speed very little air comes out of any where.
Pollen filter is OK, I can hear motors whirring when I push the directional buttons but nothing changes.
I have checked the air pipes as best as I can and I can hear a hissing noise when I push the directional buttons,
Any thoughts please?

There's a forced reset which should sort it...
Thought there was a guide, but can't find it :-[ but I believe it's also covered in the Owners Manual ;)

Check the vac feed through the bulk head at the rear of the engine, the air direction is vac operated (heat blend valves are servo)
-
And reset is AUTO and OFF for 5s.
But sounds like vac leak.
I'm sure if you're really stuck, Lazydocker is very nearby ;)

I would like to thank everyone whohas replied so far. I have tried the reset many times but it has made no difference, I am thinking it might be vacuum related, somebody mentioned the vacuum tank by the pollen filter might be the problem but I cannot see how it comes off to check it, any body know how?
More ideas would be appreciated if possible, especially if anyone else has had the same problem?
Will try to contact lazy Docker as suggested.

Easiest accessed with the scuttle off... it lives ontop of the heater intake (above the pollen filter).
Left hand end of the scuttle can be lifted clear once the clips under the screen rubber have been released... 4 of them iirc ;)

Aren't air direction flaps operated by electric servo motors?
