brake pad warning. I had a look yesterday at the pads & they don't look too bad but the sensor is kaput. will that be the reason for the pad display ? p.s thanks to oof members managed to eradicate a fld low beam warning, was usual problem  :y

The pad warning will come on when the pad is about 2/3rds warn, or possibly a bit earlier if the discs have a bit of a wear lip on them.

TBH, at 2/3rd worn, the pads begin to lose the ability to dissipate heat quickly enough, and at £15 a set for TC pads at a dealer....  :).  I like fresh, meaty pads!
