Post by: shaun10569 on 06 February 2016, 16:30:43
hi has anybody adjusted the travel on the dti throttle pedal....seems to go on forever...the first half seems to move with not a lot of revs and full boost being acheived if stamped on,would be great if the travel could be shortened  :D

If your engine is dti you will can't adjust anything.

The throttle is electronic

Presume you mean the 2.2 dti rather than the 2.5dti BMW lump that euroland got :-\

Is it a car that you have purchased or one you are considering?

Nope in a word... The pedal is merely a sensor for the ecu. You could probably dismantle the pedal potentiometer and tweak it, but I suspect that will only confuse the ecu resulting in some very odd throttle behaviour :-\
