Title: Firefox freezes issue, jiggle mouse gets it going again
Post by: Varche on 10 February 2016, 21:12:31
For months , maybe years, I have been putting up with Firefox freezing . It works fine if you keep jiggling the mouse. That is a pain but hey.

Periodically I spend(waste really) vast chunks of time trying to fix it.

Here is a thread of other people suffering the same problem.Pages long. http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2885321&sid=a5c2403ba30da25945d2cfd7c3f7a050&start=30

Anyway. I am now thinking of disabling stuff in MSconfig but there are about a 150 in there. Maybe I should just give up and use IE or a different browser. IE works fine of course.

Win7 , regular daily malware and AVG. Can't say when it started but used to do it with Vista too.

Anyone else had this? If I cannot fix it, what alternative Browser do you recommend?l
