Since the demise (or scarcity at least) of the VX 4 for 3 on GM 10/40 semi, I have been using triple QX from Eurocraprats. They were doing a bogof offer a couple of weeks ago, got 20 L for £36.
Not sure if the offer is still going or not.

You can get some reasonable deals on genuine VX oil in bulk on ebay, usually from the more savvy main dealer groups :y

Quite handy if your local dealer has become a fanatical den of Onanism ::)

Last time I was there, late last year, it was £27 for a 20l drum. That was for retail customers, so further price reductions were possible.

I get the 20l drums from dealer. About £30 IIRC, delivered free of course. This semi goes in everything - both Omegas, Battlebus, lawnmower, generator, compressor (and up until I melted them, the Kwaka, the old lawnmower, etc etc)

As said before, 20 litre drums nowdays. Handy if you have kept some old 5 litre cans so you can decant to make it easier to use. Differant dealers have differant offers at differant times as well

I got three different prices three times I rang up and inquired. I then got charged £38 for a 20l drum. No idea why, however each time I inquired then bloke insisted that the earlier price I'd been quoted was impossible.  :o

Anyway, even £38 for 20 litres of quality oil is cheap, and I won't have to buy any for a further two or three oil changes, so no big worry.

My dealer would definitely not deliver and i cant see me dragging a 20ltr drum out and into the boot then drag it back out into the shed  ::) Its a good price if you have a friendly dealer  ::)

Part of Tradeclub is they deliver. Free.  Obviously, they may get the hump over delivery a bolt.

The official price for Tradeclub semi is about £25+VAT.

All 3 Skurrays dealerships sold all their assets to either Now or Eden due to the owner not wanting to play certain games any more.  Shame, as a small group, I found them one of the better dealers.

Triple qx for me too on last 3 oil changes.

only use it on swmbo's car (mig gets 5W40 fully syn, gulf or halfords) but currently qx semi 10W40 is £14.99/5l and up to £15 off at carparts4less (aka ecp) .  bizarrely QX 5W40 fully syn is a bit cheaper.

codes are CP5LESS, CP10LESS, CP15LESS
