At least that one has the Capri V6 engine....not that thats a good point!

I would buy this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2004-VAUXHALL-HOLDEN-MONARO-5-7L-V8-BLUE-GREAT-COND_W0QQitemZ160257455824QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item160257455824

Then blow another 5 grand on the supercharger and suspension kit to get it upto 500 brake!

There was a poorly one in a garage about 2 miles from here a few years ago, had a very good look and sit in, was so tempted, but even that was about 10k :(

one day I will have one!
not about performance or reliability, I just want one!

Would rather have that than the De Lorean.

Would be too tempted to play all the time with 500 ponies under foot though.   :y

Thats right you can, but that contradicts your 5k all in for s/c, suspension and brakes.

And the harrop 112 running 6psi wont get you to 500BHP.

Also, you have to have headers, sports cat and exhaust fitted which is 2k+ in addition to that 6k

Was a bit disappointed to see that. How did BTTF get 88 out of one? (in a car park, too :o)

Still, with that rough, asthmatic boat anchor of a (140 BHP ;D) V6 you'd get bored waiting for it to pull to any higher speeds.

8-) to look at (from a distance, where you can't see the self tappers holding it together), and be seen in. Not exactly a driver's car though.

Stoopid US laws in Florida(?) I don't think they do it any more, but certainaly that was as far as the law allowed the clocks to go to, they were all like that.
