On my way home tonight as I was approaching roundabout where A18[Queensway]and A18[Kingsway] meet a police X5 came up Queensway and off down Kingsway a few yards behind him was a police BMW estate car and a few yards behind that another X5,all came from same direction and went in same direction and all were under blue lights and sirens.Less than a minute later another police X5 did exactly the same and then within a further 30secs.or so a police Meriva followed suit.Don't know what was afoot-I'll try finding out tomorrow at work, hopefully someone will know.I didn't relise we'd so many police cars round here :D ;D

At least 4 advanced cars there, probably after TPACing a stolen car. :-\ :-\ :-\

Local donut shop closing down???

A meriva? Watch out, criminals! ;D

Ah,but surely even a Meriva has to be better than the gas powered Protons that the "locals"get to trundle about in?
-
Meriva won't be involved in the TPAC its not an advanced vehicle.
-
Its the locals making a escape bid from scunny
We have just setup road blocks and machine gun placements on the Humber Bridge in case they make it that far ;D ;D ;D
Orders have been given to shoot on sight :D :D :D

If the good folks of Scunny ever manage to escape the camera crews of channel 5, I'm pretty sure they'll run in the opposite direction to Hull. ;D

A bit disappointed,no-one at work knew anything about what went off and there's nothing on the local papers website either. So no wiser, and I'd like to have found something out because I'm a nosy sod :D

It might have been a training exercise, I`ve seen it a couple of times on the A1, one of which I almost got caught up in the middle of ::)
