Title: renault megane window fault
Post by: raywilb on 15 February 2016, 20:02:19
my sons girlfriend has a Renault & apparently the mk2 models suffer from windows that disappear behind the door card. hers first happened last week. she rang a garage & they wanted £320 to fix. I found a utube clip showing a guy removing the door card taking off the faulty module & replacing it with what they called a cube. its not much bigger than an oxo with connectors to the relative power supply. it took me an easy hour ( spent half the time looking for a T8 torx needed to remove the module)  the cube with next day delivery cost £33 & if you send the original module back they will give a £10 off next order.
