Title: Cambelt change

Hi anyone got any info on how to do the Cambelt and any kits for hire? Looking to try to change it this weekend

You'll be wanting the Cam Belt DVD.  It's a must and will save even the most experienced mechanic some time.  Can be bought from the OOF shop.

Excellent DVD and now I do it myself I save about £250 by not having Vx do it :y

Just done it myself and I'm a real novice. I've the locking kit if you want to borrow it. You'll have to arrange hermes or the like to pick it up and return it and leave a deposit. 3.2 has less dismantling than shown in the DVD and there is no adjustment on the lower roller. Make sure you have a 30mm swan neck ring spanner.

I have the locking kit also available and a bit nearer to you in Wigan :)

Also a deposit will be required :y

Hi sorry haven't been on for a while been fitting stiffer suspension to the omega and it drives great now. Yeah mate prob best if I can pick it up from Wigan and I can drop it off again to save it going missing in the post. Thanks for the other offer tho.
