Where is the best place to buy the rectiver thingy i think mine is playing up

It's probably the voltage regulator you need, not the rectifier. What are the symptoms?

I dont think its charging properly need to retest it tomorrow.

Just tested battery this morning
12.3v nothing on not running.
14.3 engine running from cold.
14.1 engine running ac and lights on.

Are these figures ok

Yes.
Now you should to test the condition of the battery. A cranking test would be a good idea for completeness.
Then you can save any worry for the next problem.

Every time i get in the bloody thing i find something else to fix >:( >:(
