Well, I beginning to think I am dreaming all this.......... :o :o :o :o :o.
First as you may have noticed from my earlier posting on the subject, my HBV decided to blow the other day. Not lucky of course, but this has set off a number of things that I am pinching myself over......
To start with my local Caffyns main Vx dealer ( no longer "stealer" as their Parts Dept. have my full respect now!) gave me full TC discount on the HBV (which incrediably for these days they had in stock!) and antifreeze, without me having my card on me. :o :o :o :o :y
Then the next day, I went back to acquire 5 litres of Vx semi-synthetic oil, after Marks DTM warning about a price rise on the way (Thanks for that Mark! :y :y), plus some more antifreeze. The oil list price is £22.50 Ex-VAT, but with my TC discount they let me have it for £9.51 Ex-VAT. Plus all my antifreeze again, and some touchup paint, for 30% off. :o :o :o :y
Today I repaced the HBV, and yes those horrible jubillee clips caused me trouble, but with a pair of adjustable grips, some cursing, and one broken nail (what idiot designed that HBV to sit where it does; bloody self-abuser!), the job was all completed within the hour. Maybe not a record for the blokes out there, but good enough for me as I only lost that one nail, and had no cuts or scatches, with the job now done! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D :y
Imagine my amazement when the garage that I bought the car from has this afternoon promised to re-imburse me for all my costs in replacing the HBV! £40 quid is coming back to me!! ;D :y Result!!!! :y :y :y They have also got the control box and motor in to repair my sun roof, at no charge again! ;D :y
With this run of luck, which I cannot remember ever having with cars and car dealers before (not like this anyway!), I am going to do the National Lottery tomorrow! ;) ;)

do you think you could come and have a look at my LPG for me?? ;D

Noted Dusty! ;D :y
I think the first thing I would do is to invite you and all my OOF friends(well indeed every OOF member!) to a gigantic OOF meet somewhere, combing the likes of WIM, V6 engine specialists, etc to check all our miggy's over, with a huge party to follow! :y :y :y
Dreams oh dreams Dusty!!! ;D ;D ;D ;)

Were we not going to set aside a Saturday sometime soon to tidy up the last few faults with the "Lpga approved" install?
