I have had a the engine management light on for a while on my 3.0 MV6. I got round to doing a paperclip test last night and it came up with - Idle Air Control voltage low, which I will just change the Idle Air valve as I have one.
The other fault was Secondary Air Pump voltage low - I disconnected this about 3 years ago as it use to run on when I stopped the car, any ideas what this fault could be caused by? should I get another pump and re-connect?
Even if I fix the faults do I now need to have the car reset to clear the codes and turn the light off?
