I was wondering if an omegas eml on has any indication that a service is overdue.  I know some makes of motors show an indication of such. :-\

Not really, the EML is illuminated because a code has been raised by a sensor giving a reading that is out of range (sometimes over a period of time)

Nope.  It means a fault.

Nope.  It means a fault  ;).

Hence commonly called a fault code when light is on.
