Title: Car alarm needed for the lads corsa c
Post by: tigers_gonads on 10 March 2016, 13:06:30
As above really  ;D

Looking for a aftermarket kit which will make a noise and work off the central door locking system so getting rid of the need to have a extra remote dangling off the lads key ring  :y

I want something that will be pretty reliable too so not looking for something from poundland, 99 pence shop ect  :D

I used to fit a hell of a lot of these things in years gone bye before those bastids at Thatcham decided to nick all my customers back around 92 ish by making the manufactures install them at the factory so fitting will not be a problem  ;)

TIA  :)

There you go, 54p

Just remember your Anodes from your Cathodes, or put in another way youve got a 50/50 chance of wiring it in correctly

Too true that  ;D

The thing is, he is looking to rebuild the sound system in it so needs something that makes a noise  :)
I know that sigma used to make a cat 2 upgrade for cars with separate central locking and cat 1 immobiliser (via keyfob chip)   Worked / armed off the central locking relay pulse  :-\
Think it was classed as Cat 2a for insurance purposes  :-\

By a cheap, siren, and wire it into door switch circuit, fit hidden on off switch, Door open siren go off, "old skool" simplicity  :)
