Title: autobox software update

buying a new elite on Thursday 3.2 auto.

and I know it could probably do with having software update on auto box to newest version which I think is V9.

does anyone know anyone in Northwest (I'm in Liverpool) that can do it...

Or I'm picking car up from Milton Keynes on Thursday so be driving it back to Liverpool can do it for me on my way home ???

I know an ex VX auto electrician in Preston with the know how and equipment (Tech 2etc) has done this for me previously. If you are interested, pm me and I can forward his details.

I could do with this myself too for the AR25 on my Elite....

Im in Wigan and travel to Preston at least once a week.... (well Leyland but not a million miles away)

Depends on ECU type, but there was never a v9 for 3.2's, that was only for the GS820 TCMs. v8 for GS8211has most of the enhancements, though not quite as refined as the v9 on GS820.

Shame I'm not going in Thursday, as I work in MK  :(
