Just a quick and simple question: does an auxiliary electric water pump (the one below expansion tank) have any effect on engine cooling?
But I need a 100% definite answer.
From what I know, it only serves to keep the heating on when engine turned of (by circulating water trough cabin heater).
I am planing to remove it – I really never need the cabin heating feature, and the hoses towards the pump are cut in several places (as it was LPG fitted), but want to be 100% sure it will not affect engine cooling capacity in any way.
Also, I would remove two hoses (one from colant bridge to pump, and other from pump to heater matrix) -> is there an OEM hose that goes from coolant bridge directly to heater core (bulkhead)?
Following the link below -> I will remove items 4 and 5, and replace them with item no.3

No. It's there purely to make use of residual heat in the engine for heating the cabin when the engine's stopped.
I removed mine when I LPG converted it with no ill effects. You can buy the hose assembly from a car without the pump to do a neater job of removal. If you look in the LPG guides here, you might find the part number.

You missed the eye full I had ;D

Do you have air-con (and therefore a heater-bypass valve)? The diagram in your link is for models without air-con and the plumbing is subtly different.
The hose you want is the one used for models with cruise control - they didn't have the aux pump.
What model, year and engine do you have? (if you add this to your profile, it'll save you being asked this every time)

Assuming V6, the hose you want to bypass the aux pump is..
With air-con...
9129566 18 18 134 HOSE, HEATER, WATER INLET, HEATER VALVE, RHD (FOR AUTO CRUISE CONTROL) X25XE, X30XE (C) X1104259-
Without air-con (as already mentioned by VXL V6)...

It is 25 years since I went on holiday in Croatia but I am pretty certain that Bojan will have his steering wheel on the left (LHD) not RHD
