Title: s/l shocks + pump
Post by: pauls on 18 March 2016, 20:03:19
Removing the shocks and pump on the self leveling is there a certain way of doing this or does it not matter.

e.g remove rear shocks (replace with b4)
remove pump.
tie up old pipes and wire.
job done..

do i still have to remove black relay under steering wheel and if so which one.

It's one of the two small black relays, if you pull the wrong one you will kill the Main Beam so easy to identify.

Doesn't matter what order you remove the parts, I would assume you will fit the B4's first. I just removed the pump the last time I had the bumper off and pulled the pipes off at a convenient time (I think when I did the rear discs and pads). Obviously you don't need to rush to do the jobs, just pull the relay to kill the feed to the pump.

Plumbing can all be easily removed... Useful spares/upgrade potential...

As for shocks, would suggest these over the B4s... Include fittings too
