So far I've spent a fair wedge of dosh buying the oil cooler+various washers seals and a timing belt kit and a few other bits like oil filter,oil etc.Now before I find someone to come and fit them for me I've been scanning Haynes manual in which it says when refitting coolant pump and power steering pump pulleys new bolts must be used,so are they another necessary item I need to have on hand for whoever does the job or can the old bolts in fact be re-used?

I wouldn't worry about it. The only reasons to replace them are because they're damaged or if a new waterpump, shorter ones are required. The same applies to the 6 bolts holding the outer pulley to the crank.

A lot of the bolts are intended to be tightened to a torque and then angle tightened to stretch the bolts beyond their elastic limit.
If you re-use bolts repeatedly and angle tighten them each time then they will be weakened each time they are stretched.
Most people probably just tighten them to a torque and then stop.

You could make a very good case for the big-end and flywheel bolts as well.
But the basic M6 bolts on the pulleys? Unlikely to be necessary.

The most likely reason that they specify new bolts is that they are pre-coated with a locking compound, IMHO.
Always use locking compound on the water pump pulley bolts and don't overtighten them. I've recent experience of them coming undone. ::)
