Title: Lowering 2.5td saloon

Hello folks, Going to lower my saloon 2.5TD ive been searching high and low for 60mm springs but cant seem to find any, is 40 low enough seen a few pics of ones lowered on 40's and they dont look that low at all. Any help or pictures of your own omegas would be great.

As per any other Omega, you don't want to lower more than 30mm front, and 20mm rear, from standard (or 15mm F, 5mm R from LSC).

Given the weight of the TD lump, 30mm front might be ambitious, unless replacing springs with concrete.

Agree with Jamie on this one,all three cars are lowered to the required maximum,and I spend a lot of my time listening to the heatshields scraping over the high spots on speed bumps, and I even get hung up reversing off the road into my driveway.Those mods are the max and not excessive..but on the margins of usability,also the Irmy front spoiler has witness marks on the underside as getting near high kerbs are a problem also.These remarks relate to MV6's running 16inch or 17 inch wheels. :-\ Also an Elite on 17inch wheels,just as fussy ::)

Facelift Irmscher front bumper will catch even without lowering.  I'm surprised I haven't worn mine through yet ;D

I'm getting there,will be slapping a pound of pudding over the damage sometime this summer to make good good....but it won't last long,methinks ::)
