The last few weeks the EML has been on so added some Wynn's injector cleaner last week and today magically the EML has gone out :) :) :) Well impressed with the stuff so will order some more :y Must be all this low grade petrol from the supermarkets thats clogging things up :-\

More likely to be pre-cat codes... I only get them when I've had the whole family in the car and have done lots of "Miss Daisy" driving... Once I'm on my own and driving a little more "enthusiastically" I don't get any issues.

What was the related code for Steve?

That's a myth. It's the same stuff.
I would think it highly unlikely that one application of very diluted injector cleaner has had any significant effect. If it did, nobody would ever bother to remove injectors and ultrasonic clean them.

Next you'll be telling it's delivered from the same depots!!!
And a clogged injector is much more likely to not close and leak like a politician, rather than offer any restriction. I poured a litre of fuel out an injected Pinto manifold while trying to diagnose why it had gone from doing 35mpg to 8. Which wasn't doing my 500mile a week commute much good.

If your lucky it is!
I read an article (Honest John. Telegraph) That claimed the supermarkets try to buy off UK refineries, which is fine when they achieve that.....if they carnt, for whatever reason, they then turn to Europe to buy it.....then the problems begin.....European fuel doesn't have all the additives that UK fuel has......

So why has the EML gone out then ::)

To make way for the 420 code. ;D ;D ;D ;D

I think all petrol comes from the same place. In Somerset it comes from Avonmouth depot. All the road tankers collect there, Tesco, Shell, whatever, but collect additives as they leave from coded dispensers.
