Title: school boy error
Post by: Andy B on 04 April 2016, 19:34:53
Daughter phoned me at work today to tell me that, she'd Googled the noise coming from her caar when braking & decided that she needed new pads. So my task when I got home was changing a Siecento's brake pads. She was right, it needed new pads because one of the pads had stuck so the opposite pads was almost down to the backing plate.
While pushing the pads back I noticed something wet dripping from the drive shaft ....... completely forgot about the master cylinder level  :-[ :-[ :-[ Pads changed in about 20 mins at most ...... another 10 mopping up brake fluid  ???

If only its 'fan belt' was as easy! PITA   ??? ??? ??? ???

The air came out of the same hole as the brake fluid did  ::) ::)

You are of course correct ..... it was a time thing.  :-[ And the addition of new fluid could only have been a good thing.

I must open .........  ;)

Put a tube on the Bleed Nipple, capture the fluid in a jar, screw top on, label it 'Eco Friendly Recycled Brake Fluid 100% Tested', wack it on eBay, some Mug will buy it.  ::)

You don't even need used oil, just empty jars will do  ::) ::)

The astute will realise that we ship enough air back in empty shipping containers, and someone else pays. Just need a bottling plant in Tianjin to empty the air into jars. :y

If trade keeps on increasing, all the air from here will end up in China and we'll get all their smog.  :(
