Title: DVLA Surprise

After having the LPG conversion done I sent off the V5... got a letter saying that I had the wrong tax disc due to an error ( ??  :) ) Please use the enclosed new one and send back the "wrong" one.

So I did, and wrote a sarcky comment about why hadn't I been given a refund if the tax disc was your mistake... :)

I have just recieved a cheque for £10 from DVLA   :y :y

Still no V5 yet and I'm supposed to take it with me to France in a weks time  .. :(

Still .... an unexpected result ..  :)

so all i needed to do was ask why they hadnt refunded me?

time to write a letter!!

i think its a template letter they use, cos mine said my tax disc was "wrong" due to an error
