Great set of pictures, Ian. Unfortunately, I was dragged along to the JapFest at Silverstone on that day. To be honest, looking at your pictures, I would rather have been at Bicester. One thing stands out to me....from what I see in your pictures, the exhibits looked first class and well cared for. What I call a car show.
The vast majority of vehicles on show at JapFest, seemed uncared for 'sheds'. and a number of what I call, 'chav' cars. There were some nice examples, but few and far between. It seemed the norm to have your car held together with cable grips.
I think my grandson would have liked Bicester better, too. :y
