A local main stealer is now offering up to 3month payment terms at 0% apr on repairs and/or servicing.I don't know what terms and conditions may or may not be applied to this offer.Is this a sign of the times that they're having to take such a measure in order to keep up workshop workload?Heaven forbid that they're doing this to help out the hard pressed motorist :D ;D

Probably a sign of people running cars they can't afford. ::)

In the feudal Middle ages you paid you tithes with Groats and crops to the local Lord
Opti to keep him in the manner he was used to and you on the breadline. Today you use a plastic card or credit and pay you tithes to a bank owned by Lord Opti to keep him in the manner he is used to, and you on the breadline. simples. :o :o :o
It is called progress. ::) ::) ::)

I deeply regret the passing of the feudal system, Mr Rods. :)
It worked pretty well for me. :)

Most manufacturers now offer service plans, either pay monthly over x years for x services according to annual mileage, or upfront prepaid for x services.
Allowing finance for individual services/repairs is a slippery slope, but a natural progression... Especially as it would lead to increased footfall/sales opportunities...
