Hi folks the old girl failed the MOT on corrosion, wheel arch next to the top of the rear spring on the seam going down to the sill :-\. Have grinded away the rust to clean metal but can see that welding is going to be a smoky affair due to the seat and all the rubber sealant etc that's behind it all.
How easy is it to remove all the back seats bearing in mind all the electrics for heated seats?

Rear seat base lifts out,
Sound deadening under base lifts away,
Back rests unbolt,
Side trim panels unscrew.
Seat wiring unplugs,
Boot carpet lifts out,
Load cover tracks unscrew,
Boot side panels unclip,
Sound deadening over wheel arches lift away.
Be methodical and it's a breeze to strip away what you need to :y

Thanks for that. Will start tomorrow after work :)

Everything out. As you said, easy peasy. Can see why the welder wanted to do the work from the inside now. Also can see why the car steams up a lot. Probably, quite a bit of water coming through into the car. :-\
