Title: Has anyone tried these HT Leads???

I fitted a set of these to my LPG Rangie and they made a huge difference!!!

They are definitely as good as they sound and I'm thinking about sticking a set on the Miggy when I do the conversion in the next month or so (got the front end kit, just waiting for the tank to arrive on Thursday and my manifold from the magic garage of Kevin!! :y :y)

The ones I had did approx 50k and were still like new. This included some pretty deep water and off road use, which the previous Bosch leads didn't like!! I'm thinking that it's easy to change the leads with the plenum off whilst I'm fitting the LPG so just trying to decide whether to pay a little more than GM (i think) and fit something I have experience of working! Any thoughts???

Also, who makes the Spark plugs for GM? I know that NGK are by far the best suited to LPG and don't need to be fancy!

Interestingly, I overlooked the question of spark plugs completely when I fitted the LPG front end. Should have put some conventional plugs in when I had it all apart really. However, I can report that the GM 4 electrode jobs, which have already done 20k miles on petrol, work perfectly on LPG.

If anything in the ignition system's suspect, though, now's the time to change it.

Whilst the likes of NGK do special iridium LPG plugs (not cheap) if I were to change mine I would probably just get a bog standard copper cored plug a grade cooler than standard and gap it a little tighter than normal.

I can vouch that these leads are very good!!! Just out of interest... How much are the GM ones on TC?

This is why I'm planning to do the leads at the same time. I don't have any apparent issues at the moment but feel that a "belt and braces" approach wouldn't go amiss!! I'd also say that I tried all sorts of plugs in the Rangie and NGK were by far superior!! Champion lasted about 5k :o :o :o, the NGK ones were still in it 20k after installation when it went and still looked like new! :y :y :y

I think I'll put the new leads on but keep the GM plugs as they've only done about 3.5k!!  That reminds me... Time for an oil change!!

Right... Had an email back from the seller today and he has said that he will swallow the £5.95 postage for OOF members so the full lead set is £79.50 delivered.  :y :y :y

However, I think if we can generate enough interest and orders we may be able to get a little off of that price too. Not much, mind you, because they still work out cheaper than Magnecore and, I think, OE leads?

So, before I go ahead and order mine... How many others are interested in a set?  :question :question :question
