After attending the Physio-terrorist yesterday, he was pleased with my progress & improvement in flexibility. However I was still concerned with the pain I still keep getting in my groin / abdomen / right b011ock area.
Visited the local GP this morning as my sick note runs out today, told him how I was doing and about my concerns for the pain I'm getting. He then examined me and said "Think you've got a Hernia as well" :o :o :o :o
OH FOR GODS SAKE!!!! :'( :'( :'( :'( Have to go for an ultra-sound now to determine if he's right :( :( :( :(
I'm climbing the walls at home, sooooooo bored. another 4 weeks off! ::) ::) ::)

Things come in three's so watch out for the next thing :y

No, prior to doing this I can't remember the last 'heavy' thing I've lifted. I did the suspension & swivels on the Disco, but none of them parts are heavy. Everything is easy access so no contorting myself into funny positions???? I'm at a loss totally :'(

Oo hernia. That be another 4 weeks :o, if they do it key-hole. Otherwise 8-10 weeks because of your job type.
They soon offer you your own chair at the quack's :D

And stop climbing the walls, it's bad for them. Doesn't do a hernia any good either.

I've had an inguinal hernia for about ten years now, gives me pain now and again. Just haven't got time to get it done/convalesce.
-
I went into hospital at 8am and was turfed out at 12pm and they did my inguinal hernia under general anaesthetic' i've got a 5 inch scar but at least I got to watch the 2002 world cup while I was off on the sick :)
Conveyor belt care these days unfortunately :(

It's not a bad op, the worst part of it was the doc slipping his finger up my hoop for the slow release pain killer ::)
