Title: v6 lamda sensor connector location
Post by: MotormanV6 on 10 May 2016, 17:53:20
Like the heading suggests, I need to locate the connector. I took my MV6 in for it's MOT, (passed with flying colours) but afterwards when I drove away I noticed the ECU warning light flickering. I did the 'paperclip test' and it came up 'no 2 o2 sensor open circuit' fault code 89. Now I'm guessing the mot bloke may have dislodged the connector somehow, but I don't know where this is.

Further to the above, tests would seem to indicate a break and/or damage to the signal wire. Rather than faff about trying to find the break, I intend to replace/by-pass the original wire with some nice new RG316 heatproof co-ax from ECU multi-pin plug to Lamda. Problem is, being a V6, there are two lamda sensors & therefore there are two signal wires emanating from the ECU plug, and, unhelpfully both are red + blue tracer, from terminals 28 & 47 respectively, but there's no indication which is N/S and which is O/S. So for example, does T28 got to N/S or O/S sensor? Many Thanks.
