Title: Late pre or early facelift?

I'm toying with the idea of running my 56reg Vectra Elite  :-[ off a cliff and spending my car allowance on running another 3.0 Elite Omega like my old one :- http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1188507148/0#0

Should I be looking at a V or W reg old shape like my old one, or a Facelift model?

Can anyone give an objective comparison?

personally i think the pre facelift has a better interior, however the facelift cars do seem to stand up to the rust a lot better

That was the only problem with my Elite - bottom of the doors.

I think its down to preference, I personally prefer the shape and interior of the mini facelift.
