Be thankful you don't pay the road tax in Ireland https://www.motortax.ie/OMT/motortaxinfotype.do (https://www.motortax.ie/OMT/motortaxinfotype.do)
I make the road tax in Eire to be E2350 / £1786 for an R320 :o

Don't be silly , you get absolutely nothing for nothing over here .
Historically , or at least since I moved here 11 years ago , the painfully high road tax rate was the only revenue stream from which all was distributed accordingly ,so with no separate household tax ( council tax ) or water rates it was bearable. With the advent of the latter ( by order of others abroad ) those of us with pre '08 cars are still paying the higher rate of vehicle tax AND the other two so therefore in effect paying twice .......
I pay € 710 per annum for a 2.0Lt Omega , a neighbour pays € 280 for a new BMW 2.0 Lt due to th incredulous decision by the then government and the Greens .
The Irish politician is a distinctly incompetent creature .
Sovereignty without Independence is a truly worthless thing, remember that on the 23rd..........

That reminds me, mine is due in a few hours...

But the remain campaign implies otherwise ;)
