Apparently it's come up on the VXR8/Monaro forum ....they were destined for Kent police,2 fully liveried and 1 grey unmarked.

GM svo tested Holden at Millbrook, for use with tvp and the met, higher up's said no due to import regulations, fully liveried up came in about same as omega, cheaper than the Volvo, European rules? Germany use's Bmw, Frances uses Renault n citron, Sweden use Volvo, Spain use seat, and good old Blighty plays by the rules :(
