Title: 999 calls
Post by: raywilb on 07 June 2016, 11:24:33
ive just read an article in my local rag about a couple of parents of an eleven year old boy that made a 999 call ( twice ) saying they were having problems with their son. apparently he was being cheeky and wouldn't eat his dinner.  ???

I'd have sent an ambulance and took the parents for a brain scan.

Surprisingly I've still got one or two mates still left in service...but they hate the job now and are only waiting to retire. But now sadly the rest of us are all shuffling along the perch and dropping off one by one :o

Yes so did I , regretted leaving for quite a while but things worked out eventually finished up in HMPS where I still am only part time now as I am 62 , they were good days in the LAS though worked with some great people.
