With summer upon us and many people booked in for AC regassing, my superiors thought it wise to get someone trained up following the departure of our sole AC trained mechanic.
Step up stoopid bear lol
So gets my first AC booking in today. I've dolled up to the nines with full face yellow glasses and blue marigolds. I lift the bonnet, go to connect the machine to the ports to find someone has severed the low pressure line in two :o
Line only available from ford. At 90 plus vat.
I'll just have to wait to do my first gas. Though we got 4 booked in tomorrow so ain't got to wait long.
-
They haven't giving you F-gas too, :o :o
-
You could have a practice on my Smart .... I'm sure that's low on gas
-
I already had lots of Fart gas lol
I thought it was great at the time. But the process of regassing is frankly bloody boring.
Thanks Andy but I had to service one last week. Never again. Though worst car to service is surprisingly not a Renault. I reckon it's the mg tf. Awful

I've only lifted the engine cover once so far to have a quick look ...... at least there are only 3 spark plugs to change unlike the 6 in the Roadster (all the back has to come off to get to them all) ;)

There could be another garage explosion in Northants, again, go careful young bear ::)
-
Haha cheers chaps, I will go careful.
So mark out of interest what's the cause? Excessive engine movement? The guy swears he never opened the bonnet since his last regas. Though that in itself is dumb lol
-
Mark even ::)

Corrosion, or the seal gives up. (focus)
