Every time you see one of these, I always am forced to wonder, I know there's the engineering challenge, and for some that's the whole point - the thrill of the chase, etc - but certainly in the case of the Omega how much would it cost to buy/ship the back end of an accident damaged Holden Ute? Or just the whole car? really? vs the cost and time of making an Omega pickup.

I respect the time and skills involved hugely, but it's a very odd thing to make your own version of a car that almost exactly exists already.

Must be very friendly with the MOT Man, Steering wheel Air Bag.

That's the least of the issues, as the modified monocoque means it needs a BIVA test to be legal.

I assume there is some cross-pollunation there somewhere as that window shape looks identical?!

Holden is wider than an omega, 100mm I think.
