Title: central locking motors
Post by: raywilb on 21 June 2016, 06:49:08
if I manage to source a c/locking motor out of a scrappy , is there a way of testing it . the scrappy will have no power & they don't guarantee these sort of items.

Repairing them is relatively simple following Kevin's guide, and means you only pull one out - yours! :y

I hear what you say. all the same rang local dealers & gave them the part No for a price for one. £78 +  vat. then used a web site  that contacts Vauxhall dealers & in no time had a call from a Swindon dealer they had one in stock £19.99p + £4.50 postage. tho I can live with clicking the fob twice to open & twice to shut for the time being. when I do the job I will stick the new one in, then I, ll follow Kevins guide to repair the faulty one.  :y :y the one on its way is genuine gm & new.
