Warning. This may upset some of you
I have a huge garage attached to the house. Big enough for at least two, maybe even four Omegas when empty, I've never actually tried that.
On Monday I have some guys coming in to block off a window and build a block wall to divide the garage approx 70% to 30%
The bigger 70% part is for . . . . . . . . .
A DRUM KIT !!!

How much space, or how big is the drum kit. I'd go 50/50. Need somewhere to put cars.

Well drum kit, plus quite a lot of storage. In the two and a half years since moving a car has only been in the garage once, and only then because there was valuable stuff in the back while we were moving in. We simply never use the garage for cars. I'm not sure but may still be able to squeeze Omega in at an angle if I really needed to :y The 70/30 was mainly due to the position of a door and also beams in the roof.

A drum kit?
I'm not worried, you're on the other side of the country and the rain in Wales will help to damp( ;D ) the noise.

Mid life crisis Rog? :o

Mid life crisis Rog? :o
I wish ;D
No a "late life" crisis, along with my guitars and amps, none of which I can actually play ::) but trying :-[
But hey, still cheaper than a flash car and bits on the side :y

This morning the builder turns up around 8.30am (down here it's amazing that they just turn up!)
Radio gets turned on. Some pop music station. "Oh I need to change that" he says. To Radio Talk Sport . . . . . . so I can gloat about England ;D ;D

Well, after a long time an update
Wall built (like fort Knox !)
And, drum kit in place :y Brill, making a lot of noise. Omega is outside . . . . :( But . . .

Looks cool Rog . . . but hard to guage how much room you have . . need a wider angle picture.
Is there enough room to get backline amps & a PA set up in there . . if so looks like a good rehersal room for a band :y :y

It would be worth getting some insulated plasterboard on those walls......it can get chilly down there in the principality :y

Good question, and I don't really know :-\
Put a CD on really loud. Louder than I would normally play, and not too bad outside. No neighbours are attached, and probably 30 metres to nearest. Also, not late at night.

If you can't feel the building move, your instruments are too small. That's what 6000kg of bronze swinging over your head does ;)
