Title: V6 header tank with sensor

Has anybody got a header tank for a V6 Omega with the level sensor too please...

Or if anyone has a link to brandnew as I believe they are NLA at the dealers now...

Mine came from here  (http://www.vauxhall-car-parts.co.uk/acatalog/VAUXHALL_OMEGA_HEADER_TANK_-_90500223.html) although the price has gone up in the last couple of years. I'd spend the extra couple of quid and get a new cap too.

Get one off the bay of E for about £40, and it was OE :y

Are they actually different? Diesel one on my breaker looks the same as V6 from my recollection

4 variations but unless you have the 2.5 disesel it is most likely 90500223

Pretty sure I got one in the garage if your interested I can dig it out. It's not a brand new one though.

Yes main dealer told me they are not available for the Omega B anymore, most parts for the Omega are now obsolete because they are too old... Only parts available are the parts that are in common with other Vauxhalls, such as seals and gaskets....



Methinks they just CBA to order the parts because theres no profit in it for them...




Anyhoo, Iv had a few offers for a header tank and sensor, Im not bothered if it is 2nd hand or brand new - as long as it works and theres no cracks around the filler cap, like mine, and it doesn't leak - like mine :)
