Around town the car drives fine, At motorway speed the rear end feels like its hopping as it would if i had a flat spot on the wheel.No feel through steering wheel, I can feel it through seat. i know its not the wheels because its occurred over 3 sets.
Would this be caused by geo setup not 100%
Diff mount
rear control arms
Any ideas please

Could be a dead shock absorber. Saw a car with one of the back wheels jumping up and down about 3" off the tarmac on the motorway recently. Clearly no damping there!

Rear shocks have just been replaced with b4's issue they before and after replacement.

Check the rear propshaft damper ring, I`ve seen these split on a Senator and there`re the same, also could be propshaft centre bearing.

First thought was shocks, but they bang when failed.
Prop shift damper tears itself apart in short order when they fail, and any vagueness when they start to go won't show up on an automatic car.

The damper to the rear of my gearbox on my old PFL 3ltr manual's bolts came loose and the holes started to elongate behind the washers :(
Iirc, this felt like the ABS on the rear wheels was kicking in when I was travelling at highway speeds :-X and put my foot down :-\
I'd get the back end on ramps and have a play with a spanner / socket and ratchet if I was you ;)

I bent a Capri propshaft** once, and that felt like both back wheels had suddenly become square.
** It was dark, we were on a cinder track, and there was this rock, the size of a small moon in the middle of the track. It made a hell of a bang as it hit the floor, then the gearbox, then the prop. A hammer, replacement gearbox and prop were required.

two different sets of wheels and tyres no difference.. two new rear tyres going on next week. I was wondering if it could be the driveshaft as it feels like its always the passenger rear and in the rain its always that side that spins up and the tc comes on.

Diff blocks possibly :-\ would allow the subframe to twist under load...
Normally manifests itself by feeling really disconnected when throwing it into a bend.
