Here's one for the techies
Haven't had the car for long and have had five miggys previous to this one,
When I remove the ignition key from the barrel,
I get a whining slowly diminishing really annoying sound,
I was told that the previous owner had removed some relay or other to stop something or other from making a noise(he had very sensitive hearing)
Was also told that he had put the relay back prior to sale,
Any ideas?

Why don't you ask the seller!!

They all do it, I seem to recall its the vac operated flaps settling back to the rest position.

As mark says, also might be noisy air pump.

Isn't the warning buzzer (lights on with ignition off & door open with key in the ignition) housed in a module that looks like a relay?
I think mine has started to do something similar. On a good day it sounds like someone strangling a rat but occasionally it has made a feeble noise that faded to silence when I stopped the car. It hasn’t done it for a while though so I never got around to identifying which 'relay' is actually the buzzer.

Small grey one with three slots in iirc..

Iirc
Ignition relay circuit.
Where is the location
I would either remove it or replace
It's driving me mad
Advice appreciated

Gonna say the buzzer thing that sounds either when key left in or lights left on mine does it
