Latest reports are saying that the coup has failed.With a reported death toll of 42 it was in terms of such things a relatively bloodless affair at least[although 42 is still 42 too many.Whilst I know very little of the politics of the area I'm glad the coup failed in so much as it would have been a bad blow for the democratic process.

A Turkish civil war would be a complete nightmarish disaster and might prompt me to sell up and move to the most southerly point of New Zealand, Pitcairn Island, Northern Alaska or Norfolk....  :-X                                                                                             :D  ;D

Yesterday morning on GMTV the female interviewer - sinjin minjin or something similar, tried to get Farage to admit that the massacre in Nice was at least partly his fault. Fickin moron.
